Douliania

Is a small village surrounded by beautiful lush countryside.

From the new kafenion and taverna, called Ivgoritis, you will get stunning views towards, Vamos and Gavalatori. If you prefer to look at the distant sea the old kafenion on the other side of the village is for you. In both places to food is excellent and the views unsurpassed.

It is well worth while to take a stroll through the village. With help from E.U. funding some old houses have been renovated to show the traditional ways of building giving the place a special charm.

In the middle of the village by the yellow house with a pool turn right down an old donkey path which leads down the valley.  After reaching the dry river bed, turn left then follow the path which leads to the chapel of Ag. Ioannis, built into the rocky wall of the valley side.

Tsivaras

Is a tiny village on the road between Kalyves and Vamos. The old kafenion has a friendly owner, some of the cheapest prices in the area and a great sea view. Explore the delightful alleyways and if you are here in winter don't miss the busy olive oil mill used by the local farmers.
